Preconstruction
The vast majority of costly mistakes and delays can be avoided through an intelligent preconstruction phase. We understand that even the smallest design change can impact cost and schedule. Therefore, our team believes it is critical to dedicate the proper time and attention necessary at the early stages in a construction process. We prepare accurate, meticulous budgets for each phase of the project based on real-time and historical cost data. Our clients can trust that the diverse talents of our preconstruction team will reduce project duration, minimize cost, and mitigate risk to ensure we complete every project on time, on budget, and with excellent quality work.
General contracting
PGC strives to deliver high-quality projects to our clients that are on time and on budget. We believe the best way to do so is by fostering long-lasting relationships with our owners, architects, and subcontractors. When we interview and qualify subcontractors, we discuss PGC’s Quality Assurance Program, mockup procedures, and Construction Punch List procedures with them. In addition, we ask for each subcontractor to submit their project-specific plan for achieving quality in their work. Prior to their execution, our project management team reviews all subcontract scopes to help identify possible conflicts or omissions to reduce the possibility of change orders and delays. We partner with architects and subcontractors early in the project to ensure that constructability, design details, products, and installations will allow for a successful project that meets our client’s needs and expectations.

We anticipate the project schedule and communicate efficiently with our clients and others to keep the flow of information moving. Provident’s Project Management team are highly experienced problem solvers who go the extra mile to prevent issues by addressing concerns early on.
